Exams Invigilators

£12.21 per hour plus holiday pay

The Hemel Hempstead School has a requirement to appoint additional members to its team of committed, friendly exam invigilators. The main external examination season runs in May and June; however, you will also need to be available for a minimum of 8 sessions (mornings and/or afternoons) per week during all of the following exam sessions:

  • November/December – 18th November for approx. 3 weeks
  • March – second/third week
  • Summer Public exams: 21 April 2026 – end June 2026 tbc

There will also be external assessments throughout the year which will need invigilation.

You must be punctual, have a flexible attitude to work, be able to demonstrate an attention to detail and possess good communication and IT skills. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential for the role. You must be available from 8.30am to 12.00pm for morning sessions and from 1.00pm to 4.30pm for afternoon sessions.
