Community and Charity

Community

All students are encouraged to make positive contributions to our school and local communities. This reflects our school value of responsibility.

In Year 12, all of our students are expected to complete a minimum of 1 hour per week of 'community enrichment'. Students select what they want to do to 'give back' to the school or the local community. Many of our students mentor younger students or support teachers in lessons and some volunteer at school or in local charity shops.

We are in the process of building our Alumni network to build relationships with the local community. We're also working on increasing opportunities for all students to make a positive contribution to the community.

Charity

This year, our chosen charities are DENS and Mind. We run a number of events throughout the year to raise money for these charities.
